Taking
the Heights - Capital Campaign
We are currently in the giving period
for our “Taking the Heights” campaign to build our new church
building on the land located above Marjorie Circle. The campaign
culminated in November 2006 with pledges received from the
congregation in excess of $650,000 over a three-year giving
period. We are grateful for the commitment of our congregation
and continue to pray for God’s favor and blessings on each
and every one as we faithfully fulfill our pledge commitments.
In addition to the pledges received, we continue to pray that
God will bless us above and beyond our expectations as we
continue forward in faith. The timeline laid out during the
campaign included our plans to begin construction in the spring
of 2008. We are steadily working towards this objective.
Our goal is to use this portion of our church website to keep
you informed of our progress. Information is also provided
on some of the past accomplishments for those of you who may
be new to our congregation or website. Our plan is to provide
regular updates on the activities of the Building Committee
regarding the design and planning that is taking place behind
the scenes. We also intend to provide regular updates and
photographs as the project moves into the construction phase.
