Adult
Sunday School
Adults are invited to attend
these informal classes, which are designed
for getting to know God in a deeper, more
intimate way through his Word, and understanding
who we are in Christ. Classes begin at 9:15
a.m.
All are invited for coffee at 9:45 a.m. Bring
a friend!
Deacon
Ministry
The
Deacons are available to address the practical
matters of the church and to care for the
needs of the church body.
Deacon Ministry Vision Statement
As Deacons, we seek to give glory to God through
humbly serving the body of Christ by using
the various gifts and abilities that God has
equipped each of us with. Recognizing that
nothing happens outside of the knowledge and
sovereignty of God, we desire to know the
needs of our body, and as instruments of God,
meet those needs with love and compassion.
Isaiah
58 Outreach
Isaiah 58 is a street outreach in “soup
kitchen” style. We feed the homeless and
needy, healing the broken hearted and down
trodden through the gift of the Spirit and
the light and life of Jesus Christ. We invite
you to come be His Hands and feet to the
hurting and the lost. Call 860-657-3217
for more information or to volunteer.
Isaiah 58 Outreach Vision Statement
Isaiah 58 Outreach reaches out to those in
need through practical means; touching hearts
and lives with God’s Love and Light, thus
providing opportunity for one-on-one prayer
and ministry
"Is not this the
kind of fasting I have chosen:...Is it not
to share your food with the hungry and to
provide the poor wanderer with shelterwhen
you see the naked, to clothe him, and not
to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Isaiah 58:6-7

and blessed them. Mark 10:14,16 NIrV
Mens
Ministry
The men meet on occasion as well as one weekend
a year for a local spiritual retreat.
Mens Ministry Vision Statement
The Mens Ministry at The Worship Center
is based on 1Corinthians 16:13-14: "Be
on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be
men of courage; be strong. Do everything in
love."
It is our desire to build men in Christ who
are spiritually aware, know what they believe
and why, willing to step out in faith, do
the works of Jesus, and display spiritual
sensitivity. These qualities are to be displayed
as they live out their lives in their families,
communities, their professions, and their
church.
Whether it is coming together for a special
event, attending a retreat or conference together,
or just simply hanging out and having fun,
we seek to establish meaningful relationships
that encourage and edify one another in faith
to the Glory of God.
P.O.D.
(People of Destiny)
This is a regional outreach by Tim and Denise
Casey to local youth, ages senior high to
college age, and meets weekly on Thursday
evenings 7:00 p.m., at the Caseys. Join
us for pizza, worship, swimming, etc. Bring
a friend! John 10:10 (Amplified Bible)
The thief comes only in order to steal and
kill and destroy. I came that they
may have and enjoy life, and have it in
abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Restoration
and Renewal Ministries
This ministry meets twice a month and on an
as needed basis.
Restoration and Renewal Ministries
Vision Statement
This is a womans recovery group, based
on the "Twelve Steps," led by two
women; helping women find healing and their
identity in Christ. We provide a "safe
place" where a woman can begin to address
past issues affecting their present lives,
such as alcoholism, addictions, and past abuses.
"A
Season Of Hope" Support Group Vision
Statement
Offered is a twelve-week support group specifically
dealing with issues of past sexual abuse.
We are using excerpts from the books, The
Wounded Heart, by Dr. Dan Allender and
A Door of Hope, by Jan Frank. We want
to help women find the healing and freedom
weve found in Jesus.
Restored
to Holiness-Men's Recovery Group
This group is for those struggling with
addiction. If you or some one you know is
looking for an environment where it's safe
to tell the truth about your affliction,
then this group if for you! Please come
and join us. Addiction can lead to death,
but with the message of hope in the gospel
of Jesus Christ you can have victory in
life over addiction. Please contact the
church office for more details.
Womens
Ministry
Women of The Worship Center meet occasionally
for a Fellowship Breakfast, which includes
a biblically relevant message. Under the umbrella
of “Women’s Ministry” come MOPS (Mothers of
Preschoolers), Restoration & Renewal Ministries,
and Women’s Intercessory Prayer. There are
several retreats for women each year.
Womens
Ministry Vision Statement
Because women play such a vital role in the
kingdom of God, it is the vision of the Womens
Ministry to support, affirm, and encourage
each one toward spiritual growth through
- Developing
authentic, caring relationships among women,
- Serving
womens spiritual and physical needs,
- Cultivating
each womans gifts, interests, and
talents, and
- Sometimes
just having fun or getting away.
